Frequently Asked Questions

You will receive a small set of preview images within 72 hours of your session. For your full gallery, expect a maximum turnaround time of three weeks for regular portrait or elopement sessions and eight weeks for weddings.

I’m unable to offer per-image pricing or organize a micro-session for a single client. However, I will offer Mini Session days once or twice a year where you can have a selection of photos delivered at a lower rate. Follow me on Instagram at @studio.buongiorno to find out when they take place!

Yes! For those who feel a bit awkward on camera, I will guide you throughout the session with small prompts that feel simple and un-cheesy. I try not to force you into poses that feel unnatural to how you actually act (or interact). For couples and families in particular, I try to leave some space for you to just be together and interact. The end goal is always photos that reflect you, authentically.

I would describe my work as true-to-color with a natural, relaxed feel, and inspired by the look of 35mm film. I lean more into documentary—capturing you in your natural state—than editorial, though elements of both are always in play, especially when I’m posing and placing you.
-
Yes, I do! One thing to remember about film is that it’s much less of a “safe bet” than digital—perfectly imperfect. This is part of its beauty! I treat film as a complement to a digital session: remember, with film, there are no guarantees! In the unlikely event that your negatives come out blank, you will be refunded for your film add-on in full.

Clients have often told me that I “made it feel easy" or that they “actually had fun” even if they don’t typically like being photographed. I like to think that sums it up!
